Rockwood Island shows the seasonal effects of the acidic water on limestome bedrock. I painted this in 2000 after a family outting. Rockwood is a conservation area just east of Guelph, Ontario.
Algonquin Lagoon documents a canoe trip that I took with a friend in 1999. We paddled out of Kiosk, in the north, and rarely saw a soul for four days; quite a different experience from our regular trips through the southern access points.
