Making Art Books with Rick Raxlen

I recently had the pleasure of blowing off some job finding steam with Victoria animator Rick Raxlen. Rick was in town, thanks to TAIS ( http://www.tais.ca ), to demonstrate the freedom of ripping up paper and using whatever happens to be laying around to make up small 5" X 5" art books.

We all talked animation and informally created our own little narratives with rubber stamps, stencils and finger paints, before getting a glimpse of Rick's energistic creations on film. Then we headed out to the Cadillac Lounge for food. What a great night.

These are the first of four pages in my art book.
